Buddhism is the education of Buddha, definitely not a religion. Buddha's education transcends national boundaries, transcends races, transcends parties, transcends religions, etc. We need to explain it to the people so they can understand, then followers of all religions will be very happy to come to practice, to take refuge in the Three Jewels, to receive fulfilled intellectual education.
Religion is built on the basis of attachment, while Buddhism is built on the basis of wisdom, the refrainment of delusion to achieve enlightenment. This is the difference!
In our minds, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are teachers, not Gods. We worship the teachers' images at home so that we will never forget the teachers' teachings and get reminded to be vigilant. This is truly studying Buddhism, being a Buddhist disciple. If you perceive Buddhism as a religion, you will not receive true benefits from Buddhism.
In this world, Buddhism is the most fulfilled, the most complete, the truly excellent education that cannot be found in this world or beyond.
If many people in our society receive Buddhist education, the society will naturally be gentle, the world will naturally be peaceful and calm, and each of us will live through the good days. Therefore, it is not enough for just one person to be good, but also to help all others to refrain from evil and cultivate good. This is the duty of the Buddhists.

Phật giáo là giáo dục của Phật Đà, quyết không phải là tôn giáo. Giáo dục của Phật Đà vượt qua ranh giới quốc gia, vượt qua chủng tộc, vượt qua đảng phái, vượt qua tôn giáo,... Chúng ta cần giải thích cho người ta hiểu rõ thì tín đồ của các tôn giáo sẽ rất vui vẻ đến tu học, đến quy y Tam Bảo, đến tiếp nhận giáo dục trí tuệ viên mãn.
Tôn giáo được xây dựng dựa trên cơ sở của tình chấp, còn Phật pháp được xây dựng dựa trên cơ sở của trí tuệ, phá mê khai ngộ. Đây là điểm không giống nhau!
Trong tâm thức của chúng ta, Phật, Bồ Tát là lão sư (thầy giáo), không phải là thần minh. Trong nhà thờ phụng hình tượng của thầy là để cho chúng ta sẽ nhớ mãi không quên những giáo huấn của thầy, nhắc nhở chúng ta phải cảnh giác. Đây mới là học Phật, là đệ tử Phật. Nếu quý vị đem Phật giáo cho là tôn giáo thì quý vị sẽ không nhận được lợi ích chân thật từ Phật giáo.
Trên thế gian này, Phật giáo là viên mãn nhất, hoàn thiện nhất, là giáo dục thật sự ưu tú nhất mà trong thế gian hay xuất thế gian pháp đều tìm không được.
Nếu trong xã hội có nhiều người tiếp nhận giáo dục của Phật Đà, xã hội tự nhiên sẽ hòa nhã, thế giới sẽ tự nhiên hòa bình, an định, chúng ta mỗi người đều được sống những ngày tốt lành. Cho nên , không phải một người tốt là được, mà còn phải giúp tất cả mọi người đoạn ác tu thiện. Đây là nghĩa vụ của người Phật tử cần phải làm.
